Sweet and other Marines with III Marine Expeditionary Force are participating in Rim of the Pacific 2016, a multinational military exercise, from June 29 to Aug. 8 in and around the Hawaiian Islands. Sweet, a native of Kansas City, Missouri, is an assault amphibious vehicle driver with Combat Assault Company, 3rd Marine Regiment, which supports III MEF.
