160716-N-CV785-297 DA NANG, Vietnam (July 16, 2016) Navy musicians from the “Big Wave” U.S. Pacific Fleet Band perform during a concert held at Bach Dang Street, as part of Pacific Partnership 2016 community relations event. Community relations events bring together the local community and Pacific Partnership personnel and are an essential component of the mission that allow for direct engagement. Partner nations will work side-by-side with local military and non-government organizations to conduct cooperative health engagements, community relations events and subject matter expert exchanges to better prepare for natural disaster or crisis.
