160702-N-VD165-092 ARABIAN GULF (July 2, 2016) An MV-22 Osprey aircraft, attached to the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), lands between an MV-22 Osprey and an MH-60S Sea Hawk, attached to the “Wild Cards” of Helicopter Sea Combat (HSC) Squadron 23, on the flight deck of amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4). Boxer is the flagship for the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 13th MEU, is deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
