Harpers Ferry Amphibious Operations
160701-N-VS214-045 ARABIAN GULF (July 1, 2016) Landing Craft, Utility 1635 exits the well deck of the dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49) during amphibious operations. Harpers Ferry is part of the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
