160630-N-WF272-071 SASEBO, Japan (June 30, 2016) Chief Cryptologic Technician (Technical) David Wrachford, assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) lifts a captain’s cup awarded to the operations department by Commanding Officer Jeffrey Ward during an all-hands call held in the ship's hanger bay. Bonhomme Richard is the lead ship of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group and is forward-deployed in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operation.
