160628-N-WT427-210 OSAN, Republic of Korea (June 28, 2016) Vice Adm. Joseph P. Aucoin, commander U.S. 7th Fleet, and his 7th Fleet task force commanders tour the Republic of Korea (ROK) ship Cheonan during a commander's training symposium. Cheonan was sunk by a North Korean torpedo on March 26, 2010, killing 46 ROK sailors. The purpose of the symposium is to update 7th Fleet commanders and command master chiefs on fleet-wide initiatives and achieve strategic alignment throughout the region.
