Aucoin, commander U.S. 7th Fleet, and his 7th Fleet task force commanders offer a moment of silence prior to receiving a tour of the Republic of Korea (ROK) ship Cheonan. Cheonan was sunk by a North Korean torpedo on March 26, 2010, killing 46 ROK sailors. The purpose of the symposium is to update 7th Fleet commanders and command master chiefs on fleet-wide initiatives and achieve strategic alignment throughout the region.
