Kurt Tidd, commander of U.S. Southern Command, conducts a media availability with Panamanian media aboard the Harper's Ferry-class amphibious dock landing ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51). To commemorate the recent expansion of the Panama Canal, Oak Hill is conducting a port visit in Rodman, Panama. During the visit, the ship is hosting a reception with local officials and diplomats from the United States and trade partners. Oak Hill is deployed to the U.S. 4th Fleet area of responsibility.
