160618-N-UN259-112 WATERS EAST OF JAPAN (June 18, 2016) Ensign Clayton Dietz takes ranges in the pilot house of the Ticonderoga class guided-missile cruiser USS Shiloh (CG 67), as the ship steams in formation with the Nimitz-class aircraft carriers USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74). Shiloh is on patrol supporting the Ronald Reagan Carrier Strike Group. The Nimitz-class aircraft carriers USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) and USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) conduct dual aircraft carrier strike group operations in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia Pacific region.
