Dawkins performed along with other members of U.S. Fleet Forces Brass Band while in town for Fleet Week New York. More than 4,500 Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen from 14 vessels including the Royal Canadian Navy descended upon the city for FWNY, now in its 28th year, to interact with the citizens of New York and the tri-state area, enhancing public awareness of today's maritime services.
