160525-N-AM350-001 STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (May 25, 2106) - Gas Turbine Systems Technician 2nd Class Anita Preetam and Mass Communication Specialist Carlos Vazquez II, assigned to Navy Recruiting District New York, talk with U.S. Park Rangers during the Fleet Week kick-off celebration at historic Fort Wadsworth. Fleet Week New York, now in its 28th year, is the time-honored celebration of the sea services. It is an unparalleled opportunity for the citizens of New York and the surrounding tri-state area to meet Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen, as well as witness firsthand the latest capabilities of today's maritime services. The weeklong celebration has been held nearly every year since 1984. (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist Chief Amy Kirk/Released)
