160511-N-BB534-182 SAN DIEGO (May 11, 2016) - The crew of USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) man the rails as the ship pulls out of its homeport for Pacific Partnership. Pacific Partnership is in its 11th year and is the largest annual multilateral humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission conducted in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region. More than 600 military and civilian personnel are embarked from the U.S., Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
