160503-N-UH661-019 SOUTH CHINA SEA (May 3, 2016) French Marine Nationale La Fayette-class frigate FS Guepratte (F 714) conducts a passing exercise with the aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) while an F/A-18E Super Hornet assigned to the Vigilantes of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 151 prepares to launch from the flight deck during routine flight operations. This exercise is part of a larger effort to conduct mutual training on a regular basis. Providing a ready force supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific, John C.
