160502-N-VS214-247 GULF OF ADEN (May 02, 2016) An 11-meter rigid hall inflatable boat is lowered from the port side of the dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49) during routine operations. Harpers Ferry is part of the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
