(April 27, 2016) - Seabees, assigned to both Naval Construction Group (NCG) 1 and Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, push over a ridge to engage NMCB 5 during a simulated attack for NMCB 5’s Field Training Exercise (FTX). The FTX prepares and tests the battalion's ability to enter hostile locations, build assigned construction projects and defend against enemy attacks using realistic scenarios while being evaluated by NCG 1.
