(April 23, 2016) - Seabees, assigned to Naval Construction Group (NCG) 1, inspect as Seabees, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, deconstruct a timber watchtower during the battalion’s Field Training Exercise (FTX). The FTX prepares and tests the battalion's ability to enter hostile locations, build assigned construction projects and defend against enemy attacks using realistic scenarios while being evaluated by NCG 1.
