160419-N-VS214-609 GULF OF ADEN (April 19, 2016) An 11-meter rigid hull inflatable boat in lifted out of the water on the port side of the dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49) during routine small boat operations. Harpers Ferry is part of the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
