POLARIS POINT, Guam (April 5, 2016) – Chief Hull Maintenance Technician Jay Adkins, a native of Ventura, California, assigned to the Emory S. Land-class submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), reiterates proper information plotting on a ship's damage control diagram to Machinist's Mate 1st Class Thomas Camacho, a native of Tamuning, Guam, during a damage control drill in one of the ship's repair lockers as part of the fast cruise, April 5. The fast cruise trains Sailors in damage control, personnel accountability and various emergency situations preparing them for underway at-sea operations. Frank Cable, forward deployed to the island of Guam, conducts maintenance and support of submarines and surface vessels deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
