Land-class submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), instructs proper firefighting techniques to Logistics Specialist 2nd Class Jon LeBeouf, a native of Porterville, California, and Ship’s Serviceman Seaman Gayron Booker, a native of Houston, Texas, during a fast cruise evolution, April 5. The fast cruise trains Sailors in damage control, personnel accountability and various emergency situations preparing them for underway at-sea operations. Frank Cable, forward deployed to the island of Guam, conducts maintenance and support of submarines and surface vessels deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
