YORKTOWN, Va. (April 1, 2016) Gunner’s Mate 1st Class Ernest Quinones, assigned to Pre-Commissioning Unit Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78), observes Aviation Ordnanceman 1st Class Cassie Steele, also assigned to Ford, as she fires the M4 Carbine rifle down range during a live fire exercise at Navy Weapons Station Yorktown Cheatham Anaex. Sailors assigned to Ford qualified in the 9mm pistol and M4 Carbine rifle in order to carry these weapons during armed watches aboard the ship.
