160331-N-KK394-273 ATLANTIC OCEAN (March 31, 2016) -An F/A-18E Super Hornet assigned to the Sidewinders of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 86 undergoes pre-flight checks on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69), the flagship of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group. Ike is underway conducting a Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) with the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group in preparation for a future deployment.
