160323-N-BL607-100 ATLANTIC OCEAN (March 23, 2016) – The guided-missile cruiser USS Monterey (CG 61), fires its M240 machine gun off the bow during an inbound Fast Inshore Attack Craft (FIAC) training exercise. Monterey is underway conducting Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) with the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group in preparation for a future deployment.
