Established 2001, Foal Eagle is a combined Field Training Exercise conducted annually by the ROK Armed Forces and the U.S. Armed Forces. The primary purpose of Foal Eagle is to demonstrate Republic of Korea - U.S. Military resolve to deter war on the Korean peninsula and to improve the combined and joint operational posture of both forces.
