160314-N-KB426-431KOREA STRAIT (Mar. 14, 2016) – Amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown (LSD 42) fires its portside MK-38 MOD II 25MM machine gun during a live fire exercise. Germantown is assigned to the Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group (BHRESG) and is participating in Ssang Yong 16 a biennial combined amphibious exercise designed to strengthen interoperability and working relationships across a wide range of military operations from disaster relief to complex expeditionary operations.
