160314-N-FN963-018 YOKOSUKA, Japan (March 14, 2016) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Barry (DDG 52) arrives at Fleet Activities (FLEACT) Yokosuka to join the Forward-Deployed Naval Forces in Japan. Barry is equipped with the Aegis Baseline 9 air defense combat system. FLEACT Yokosuka provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, 83 tenant commands, and 24,000 military and civilian personnel.
