160310-N-KB426-082 POHANG, Republic of Korea (March 10, 2016) A landing craft air cushion (LCAC) attached to Naval Beach Unit (NBU) 7 departs Pohang for the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). Bonhomme Richard, lead ship of Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group (BHRESG), is participating in Ssang Yong 16 a biennial combined amphibious exercise designed to strengthen interoperability and working relationships across a wide range of military operations from disaster relief to complex expeditionary operations.
