Larry Vincent receives the Legion of Merit award for his performance as Commander, Helicopter Sea Combat Wing Pacific (CHSCWP) during a change of command ceremony at Naval Air Station North Island. Capt. Ben Reynolds relieved Vincent to become the commanding officer of CHSCWP. CHSCWP is responsible for overseeing the operation of 10 Helicopter Sea Combat (HSC) Squadrons, a Fleet Replacement Squadron, an HSC Wing Weapons and Tactics School, and a Vertical Takeoff and Land Tactical UAV detachment.
