160212-N-EH218-137 PACIFIC OCEAN (Feb. 12, 2016) – The aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) conducts a vertical replenishment with the fast combat support ship USNS Rainier (T-AOE 7). Providing a combat-ready force to protect collective maritime interests, the Stennis strike group is operating as part of the Great Green Fleet on a regularly scheduled Western Pacific deployment.
