160208-IK388-043 PACIFIC OCEAN, Japan (Feb. 8, 2016) – A Sailor assigned to aboard amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) transports chocks on the flight deck as aircrafts prepare to depart during flight quarters. Bonhomme Richard is the lead ship of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group and is slated to participate in amphibious integration training (AIT) and a certification exercise (CERTEX) with the embarked 31st MEU.
