SASEBO, Japan (Feb. 4, 2016) Commander, U.S. Fleet Activities Sasebo Capt. Matthew Ovios and USO Sasebo program coordinator Aubree Mihakami cut a cake celebrating the USO's 75th anniversary. According to Brian White, USO Sasebo center manager, said the USO strengthens America’s military service members by keeping them connected to family, home and country, throughout their service to the nation. USO Sasebo has 3 employees and 160 volunteers that supported 43,000 center visits and whose programs and events were attended by 10,000 people.
