SASEBO, Japan (Feb. 4, 2016) The USO 75th anniversary was celebrated with a cake cutting at Commander U.S. Fleet Activities Sasebo. Brian White, USO Sasebo center manager, spoke at the event, thanking everyone for their support of the USO. He said the USO strengthens America’s military service members by keeping them connected to family, home and country, throughout their service to the nation. USO Sasebo has 3 employees and 160 volunteers that supported 43,000 center visits and whose programs and events were attended by 10,000 people.
