U.S. Marines and Sailors with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) and Amphibious Squadron 4 conduct a steel beach event aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) in the Arabian Sea Jan. 30, 2016. A steel beach event is a celebratory event that includes grilled food, music, and sports designed to maintain morale and unit cohesion among personnel.
