John Richardson records a holiday shoutout with Sailors during an all-hands call in the hangar bay of the Navy's forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). The purpose of Richardson’s visit to Commander, Task Force 70 units is one stop along his journey demonstrating commitment to the forward-deployed naval forces throughout the 7th Fleet area of operations. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
