171210-N-VH385-0047 BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, Wash. (Dec. 10, 2017) The aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) transits the Puget Sound on its way back to homeport at Naval Base Kitsap. The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group was on a regularly scheduled deployment to the Western Pacific.
