Robert Lennon, a U.S. Navy doctor, examines an elderly man in his home in the remote town of Lírio do Vale on the Amazon River in Brazil. Lennon is a member of a team of five U.S. Navy doctors who are joining the Brazilian Navy on a month-long humanitarian mission up the Amazon River.
