171205-N-ZF498-204 SAN DIEGO (Dec. 5, 2017) Chief Fire Controlman Corey Martin reunites with his wife and baby after returning home from deployment aboard USS Coronado (LCS 4). The first Independence-variant littoral combat ship to deploy, Coronado was deployed for 18 months and operated in Southeast Asia for 14 months, working with 16 navies, participating in 11 exercises, making 10 strategic port visits and successfully firing a Harpoon surface-to-surface missile, striking a target beyond visual range.
