171119-N-NJ910-0087 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Nov. 19, 2017) An MV-22B Osprey assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 162 (Reinforced) lands on the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7). The ship and its amphibious ready group are conducting a combined composite training unit exercise with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (26th MEU)which is the culmination of training for the Navy-Marine Corps team that will certify them for deployment.
