171116-M-RT059-200 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Nov. 16, 2017) A Marine assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 162 (Reinforced), 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (26 MEU), visually inspects an MV-22B Osprey aircraft, prior to departing to the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) in support of a combined composite training unit exercise aboard the dock landing ship USS Oak Hill (LSD). COMPTUEX allows all elements of the Marine Air Ground Task Force to join and train in realistic scenarios so the MEU as a whole can meet its Pre-deployment Training Program objectives prior to an upcoming deployment at sea.
