CRS 1 SAILORS TRAIN WITH DJIBOUTIAN FORCES
171113-N-RF885-017 GULF OF TADJOURA, Djibouti (Nov. 13, 2017) Sailors assigned to Coastal Riverine Squadron (CRS) 1 perform tactical maneuvers during maritime navigation training with the Djiboutian navy and coast guard in the Gulf of Tadjoura. CRS 1 is forward-deployed in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations and conducts joint and naval operations, often in concert with allied and interagency partners, in order to advance U.S. national interests and security and stability in Europe and Africa.
