Thomas Ishee, deputy commander of U.S. 6th Fleet, a tour of a newly-renovated berthing space aboard aboard the ship. Mount Whitney is forward-deployed to Gaeta, Italy and operates with a combined crew of U.S. Navy Sailors and Military Sealift Command civil service mariners.
