171030-N-WH681-046 CARIBBEAN SEA (Oct. 30, 2017) Aviation Structural Mechanic 3rd Class Kyle Bailey and Aviation Machinist's Mate 2nd Class Andre Largasha, both assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 26, perform maintenance on an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter in the hangar bay of the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3). Kearsarge is assisting with relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria. The Department of Defense is supporting the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the lead federal agency in helping those affected by Hurricane Maria to minimize suffering and is one component of the overall whole-of-government response effort.
