171025-N-PG340-090 CARIBBEAN SEA (Oct. 25, 2017) Lt. Cmdr. Tracy Mackey, a handler from the air craft carrier USS George H. W. Bush (CVN 77) embarked as the air boss aboard the Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20), monitors a Coast Guard Dolphin HH-65C helicopter during deck landing qualifications aboard the ship. Comfort is underway operating in the vicinity of Ponce, Puerto Rico. The Department of Defense is supporting the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the lead federal agency, in helping those affected by Hurricane Maria to minimize suffering and is one component of the overall whole-of-government response effort.
