171020-G-SI450-1015 BOSTON (Oct. 20, 2017) Crew members aboard USS Constitution man the ships rigging while underway in Boston Harbor to commemorate the Navy's 242nd birthday, officially observed on Oct. 13th. On Oct. 21, 1797, 220 years ago, USS Constitution was launched into the Boston Harbor and commissioned as an active duty warship in the United States Navy.
