171014-N-MU198-049 CARIBBEAN SEA (Oct. 13, 2017) A U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter assigned to Charlie Company, 6th Battalion, Combat Aviation Brigade, lands on the flight deck of the U.S. Navy hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20) in order to complete day landing qualifications. Comfort is operating in the vicinity of San Juan, Puerto Rico, to provide medical services with additional visits being planned around the island. The Department of Defense is supporting the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the lead federal agency in helping those affected by Hurricane Maria to minimize suffering and is one component of the overall whole-of-government response effort.
