(Oct. 11, 2017) Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Gilbert Umayam administers an influenza vaccination to Machinist's Mate 2nd Class Austin Arnold aboard the aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74). The annual influenza vaccination program is used to both prevent influenza among the crew and rehearse procedures to vaccinate the entire crew in the event of an outbreak of a serious disease.
