(Oct. 9, 2017) U.S. Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey aircraft assigned to Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron (MAWTS) 1 drop off Marines assigned to Kilo Company, 3rd Battalion, 1st Marines during Assault Support Tactics One (AST-1) in support of the Weapons and Tactics Instructor Course (WTI) 1-18 at Combat Town in Wellton, Ariz., on Oct. 9, 2017. AST-1 is a battalion reinforced air assault exercise, supported by fixed wing and rotary wing aviation fires, aviation delivered artillery, and mortars.
