171004-N-MU198-181 SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (Oct. 4, 2017) The crew of an MH-60S Seahawk, attached to the "Sea Knights" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 22 escort a patient on the flightdeck of the hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20) during a medical evacuation while the ship is in Puerto Rico to provide humanitarian assistance throughout the area. The Department of Defense is supporting the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the lead federal agency, in helping those affected by Hurricane Maria to minimize suffering and is one component of the overall whole-of-government response effort.
