170927-N-UK248-003 INDIAN OCEAN (Sept. 27, 2017) Sailors assigned to the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52) provide assistance during a simulated medical training team “man down” drill on the ship’s mess decks. The drill was conducted to access the crew’s response to simulated medical scenarios and provide proper training on how to respond and assist injured crew members. Pearl Harbor is part of the America Amphibious Ready Group, which is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
