Raymond Rodriguez, from Fort Worth, Texas, assigned to Battalion Landing Team, 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, stands Defense of the Amphibious Task Force (DATF) watch aboard the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22) while transiting the Suez Canal, Sept. 17, 2017. During the DATF, San Diego’s small caliber action team worked together with Marines from the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (15th MEU) to provide 360-degree coverage of the ship.
