THOMAS, U.S. Virgin Islands (Sept. 11, 2017) A Marine Corps medium tactical vehicle replacement assigned to the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (26th MEU) pulls out of a landing craft utility carrying U.S. Marine Corps supplies to aid in the humanitarian effort for victims of Hurricane Irma in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, Sept. 11, 2017. The DoD is supporting FEMA, the lead federal agency, in helping those affected by Hurricane Irma to minimize suffering and is one component of the overall whole-of-government response effort.
